Parishes of St Mary, Lady of Lourdes

Welcome to the community of St Mary, Lady of Lourdes, here in the Black Country. We are three parishes that have recently been united under one parish priest. All the parishes had similar names, so, whatever else we are, we are one community under Our Lady's protection - and that's a good place to be. We strive to be a welcoming community that reflects the truth and compassion that Jesus has given us.

I'm the parish priest - Fr Stephen Fawcett. I originate from Bilston - the east end of the Black Country - so am very much at home here. I'm proud to also be the chaplain of Bishop Milner Catholic College, and teach moral theology at St Mary's College, Oscott - the diocesan seminary, for training priests. I am ably helped by Deacon John Brindley, and we are also blessed to have three Daughters of Divine Love in the community, stationed at Brierley Hill.

All three parishes try to help those in need: Kingswinford and Brierley Hill have St Vincent de Paul groups that visit the housebound and the lonely, and Old Hill has a Faith & Hope Group that runs a foodshare, a furniture project and some ESOL teaching. We also support the Brierley Hill Project. There are other groups in the parishes too, and we quite like to socialise amongst ourselves - with Old Hill leading the way at the moment, but the other churches will be catching up soon!

Mass times

Saturday vigil Mass: 5pm, Kingswinford

Sunday Mass: 9:45am, Brierley Hill and 11:30am, Old Hill

Please check the latest newsletter for weekday mass times

If you wish to receive any of the sacraments, or would simply like to know more about the Catholic faith, please do get in touch. Or if you'd like to share in our helping those in need.

More information on each parish can be found by following the links below. As I'm here by myself, weekly Mass times can vary, so the newsletter is particularly useful regarding them and you can listen to recordings of the homily.
